So I’ve decided this blog-thing isn’t too bad. However, the blog site I’m currently using is trach! Caleb set me up on this site so I thought I would check it out. If you haven’t checked out my old site in a while, it may be worth a visit. It’s not nearly as witty as the Tarkblog but it has quite a few vacation pictures posted and it may be the only way you’ll ever get to see them. 
Dad called Monday morning (about 9:30). It went like this:
Dad: Happy Memorial day buddy
Me: Thanks
Dad: What are you doing?
Me: oh, just piddling around the house
Dad: I figured you’d be at the lake
Me: Nah, had other stuff to do.
Dad: Well that house deal fell through
Me: Oh yeah?
Dad: Yeah, remember how Sally and I were going to build a house?
Me: I think so
Dad: Well we aren’t doing that anymore
Me: okay. Are you still going to build a new house?
Dad: Well, I don’t know. I found another woman and just kind of fell in love. You know what that’s like.
Me: I guess so.
Dad: Anyway, I just wanted you to remember all of the fallen heroes, and veterans, and comrades on this important day.
Me: Yeah, that’s important to do
Dad: Okay, talk to you later.
In keeping with tradition of using the Beanblog for story ideas, I also recently had stereo troubles.
