I may not know anything about fashion, but I know one thing that will never go out of style.

I thought I would check out the community pool about 12:30 this afternoon. It was locked. TRACH! I’m glad we’re paying dues.

I had a job interview on Friday, May 27.

From the ad in the paper, I was extremely overqualified for the position. I think the only reason I received an interview is because I had been interviewed by this person before (she was a committee that interviewed me for another position). My point…she was aware that I had a Master’s Degree.

Anyway, a week goes by and I get another phone call. She’s worried that I’m overqualified for the position, that I’ll leave as soon as I find something better. I reassure her that I’m not but decide I better ask about pay. The pay is pretty good for a college student, someone without a bachelor’s degree bad for me plus it’s only part time and no benefits. I told her I was worried about the pay and left it at that.

So far the whole being married thing is quite nice. Everyone seems to have been very receptive to it. However, there seems to be a common question we get a lot:

“Were your parents mad”?
