I’m pretty sure I’ve seen more than one movie where a character is swimming and all of a sudden they submerge themselves completely underwater, and as they attempt to come back to the surface they can’t because the water surface mysteriously has become a layer of glass that they can’t get through.

Anyone know what movie(s) this happens in?

Well, the class I was going to teach this fall term at Ivy Tech didn’t go through, so I’m not teaching this fall.
