Opposites

I have to agree with Mr. Effer. While his particular choice and place of enlightenment isn’t anything that interests me in the least, my particular choice and places of enlightenment most likely isn’t anything that would interest him either. But that’s neither here nor there.

The point is - everyone tends to have something special that they hold dear. That those dear things, the things that they can do to reflect upon, to bring back good memories, are the things that keep us all going.

What are the things you do/think about that bring these good thoughts to you?

Had me some Lucky Charms for breakfast this morning. Whoever is in charge of this cereal over at General Mills should be given an award. Sometime in the past 10 years, since I had previously paid any attention to the cereal, they added a bazzlionty pounds of marshmallows and removed a bazillionty pounds of regular cereal.

Did you ever know or work with someone who just always seemed to lag the general world by about 5 minutes? Someone who seems like they live in a bubble? Someone who, after the entire group arrives at some conclusion, also arrives at that conclusion - 5 minutes later?

Yeah, I don’t like that guy.
