Conception Curve Fertility Pillow

Thursday, March 16th, 2006

This morning while I was at the gym I was reading Health magazine. I came across an article about the conception curve fertility pillow. Fertility experts believe that slightly elevating your pelvis for about 30 minutes after sex will increase your chances of conceiving. The pillow allows women to stay in this position comfortably.

Realtor Redux

To further prove my point from before, I present this website. It was the design house behind one of the local realtor’s websites where they present information.

I also present this home picture as made by the company using the software. The resolution is phenomenal.

Even this little gem I found reinforces all of my theories (hint, look at the bathroom count).

Realty Reality

The wife and I are actively passively looking into buying a new home. Not a new one, per se, though that may happen, but a different one than the one we live in.

TV Oat

Wednesday, March 8th, 2006

Our living room TV has been on the fritz lately. After about 5 minutes, the picture goes away and the sound starts mixing multiple channels together into one gamish. It takes 30 or so minutes of being off to come back to life, after which it starts over the dying process.

We could just buy a new TV, but we don’t watch the living room TV all that much ( the Tivo is in the bedroom, and laying in bed is a much more comfortable place to watch TV ).

So, what did we do? We did exactly what any other hillbilly native Indiana born people would do. We put another TV on top of our broken one and started using the old one as a TV stand.

PS - can you tell that the wife likes pictures?

Daylight Savings Time

Wednesday, March 8th, 2006

The adoption of daylight savings time is a big hassle.

A few weeks ago, I was given the assignment to create documentation to change the time zone on your computer. Within the directions, I specified that “automatically adjust for daylight savings” be selected. Yesterday, I sent out this documentation. I’ve had a few minor issues with the process but the bigger problem is Outlook appointments. After April 2, all of my appointments have reset themselves to one hour later. I did find a place to uncheck “automatically adjust for daylight savings.” This fixes the issue but will it cause issues in October when daylight savings ends?

Any ideas?
