When last we spoke about the house, the outside front looked like this:

This past Saturday, we took the door off off and repainted it. We also repainted the whole front porch (after removing the old flag posts), as well as the trim around the door. We added a second layer of decorative edging stones to the flower beds, and mulched them. Here’s the new look:

Sunday was our company picnic.

Wife wanted me to write a blog with this title because she cracked UP when she heard it.

Not only did I receive notice that I am one of the 10 lucky winners in the ongoing “12 Years Yahoo lottery Award of the New Year 2007″, but the e-mail was also personally signed by Dr. Vinton G. Cerf, considered to be one of the fathers of the internet.

Note: I was supposed to keep this secret from the public until my claim is processed as part of the security protocol to “avoid double claiming and unwarranted taking advantage of this program by non-winners”

FYI: My winning ticket number is “Lwh09447″, serial number “Lwh0094478″ with Batch number “Lwh09445″. I’m supposed to claim my prize from oceanicseguros@aim.com. So please internet people, don’t double claim my prize.
