Wasting Time
I had a job interview on Friday, May 27.
From the ad in the paper, I was extremely overqualified for the position. I think the only reason I received an interview is because I had been interviewed by this person before (she was a committee that interviewed me for another position). My point…she was aware that I had a Master’s Degree.
Anyway, a week goes by and I get another phone call. She’s worried that I’m overqualified for the position, that I’ll leave as soon as I find something better. I reassure her that I’m not but decide I better ask about pay. The pay is pretty good for a college student, someone without a bachelor’s degree bad for me plus it’s only part time and no benefits. I told her I was worried about the pay and left it at that.

stacey interviewed for a job in retail, something to do while we’re in VA. they automatically assumed she was applying for the managers job because of her degree. she said she just wanted a job as an associate working part time. they said they’d call her. they didn’t. trach
