Rings

In keeping in tradition with our untraditional wedding method, we also just bought rings…

We spent a lot of time thinking about what we wanted to do over the past few weeks. We both decided not to get in any hurry and just kind of let things happen naturally. But we both want rings, and we both decided that they’re not going to magically find themselves on our fingers.

Coming back from a weekend trip at the Inlaws in Angola, we stopped by Castleton Square Mall to visit some of the jewlery stores - particularly because Friedman’s was going out of business and was having a 75% off sale.

They didn’t have much, but visiting all of the stores gave us a chance to find out what styles we liked and what sizes felt best on our fingers.

And of course, we ended up buying the rings on the internet - since it was cheaper.

I think the most blogworthy part of all of it, however, was that Annie found an online coupon for the place where we bought the rings from - and saved us $31 bucks on the order. BANG!

(We just bought bands - the big ring will come later…I think).

i wish i would have cheaped out and got stainless steel :D

not that i’m super cheap or don’t care about my marriage or blah blah blah, but my ring is platinum and is cloudy as shit from me wearing it while doing various things. it’s expensive to buff because it’s so hard.

also, thought about titanium, but didn’t like the idea of me getting fatter later in life and having to lose a finger because the ring is too tight, and cannot be cute…

Annie finding a coupon for $31 is neither embarrassing nor particularly blogworthy.

I really like the titanium and the carbide rings, but they are all pretty wide bands, and I have smaller hands and I don’t care for the wider bands, so I ended up with a 4mm white gold.

as i’m sure i told you before

shit, as i’m sure i told you before, i paid for white gold, but the suckers gave me platinum, score!

also, my first comment should say cannot be cut, as in cut off my finger.
