Two things

First: This story is NOT about Chad Rangoon.

Second: I had a dental cleaning today, which went well as usual, save for now I have to two back in 2 months and get a wisdom tooth pulled. They’d do all four, but the other 3 aren’t that bad, they’re all under the gums (which means it would require an “oral surgeon” instead of a dentist). This one has been peeking out for a few years now, and has a cavity. I’m not looking forward to this.

Anyway, my bigger concern is what’s happened to me the past two times I’ve done:

Hygenist: I’m a little concerned about tooth #elventy. Your incisor cuspid has a stain which shows a small fissure. If I know Dr. Laura, she’s going to want to fill that.

5 minutes later.

Dr. Laura: Your teeth all look real good.

So the hygenist is finding problems that she recommends getting fillings for, and the dentist doesn’t even say a word about it. Should I be concerned?

I advize you to get all 4 of those fuckers yanked at once. Bite the bullet and do it. I can’t imagine going through that shit 4 different tims. What are the odds that all 4 will come in and get pulled like a regular toof? Additionally, I’ve had a regular toof pulled before and found that the regular toof pulling was comprable in pain and afteraffects to the 4 wisdom teeth pulling.

This has been a story about non-gold teefs.

The main reason is that the one tooth is goingto cost 80 bucks because it’s an easy pull, the other three would be around 300 a piece since they will require “surgery”, and as such, without dental insurance, and being a cheap bastard, I am doing it this way.

i had all 4 pulled at once, but they were all busted through the gum. my sister however, is a retard, and had all 4 pulled, on 4 separate occasions. i’m willing to bet pain of 4 pulled

where’s the rest of my comment?

pain of 4 pulled is much less than 4 x pain of 1 pulled. if the rest aren’t busted through though, screw it.

The no dental insurance is a tark. Did you check if your health insurance would cover wisdom toof removal? Seems like they might, since it’s a mo betta surgery.

we got some supplemental dental insurance for $26/month, which covers 2 cleanings/year for bof of us and some % of cavity fillings, of which Angie has at least 12 each visit.
