My Casino Experience
I thought I would share my casino experience…it just seems fitting since everyone else is doin’ it.
Earlier this evening, the boss-man and I checked into two different rooms at Casino Aztar the boss-man picked Casino Aztar because it’s close to the government complex and the rooms are $59.00 a night with a player’s card). Me and the boss-man spending a few days in Evansville. After an unusually long check in process, I ended up in a smoking room. I wasn’t happy about the smoking room but the room doesn’t smell and there doesn’t seem to be any smokers around my room either. So about 20 minutes ago, I decide to crawl into bed, when I pull back the covers, I notice that the sheet are wrinkled; the sheets on the bed haven’t been changed from the last visitor. I call down to the front desk and speak with the supervisor, Crissy.
Crissy: Can you sleep in the other bed?
Me: I’d like to know that my bed is clean (other bed looks clean but I’m not taking chances).
Crissy: I’ll send someone right up. Also, I will drop your room rate this evening to $39.00.
Great: I’m glad the boss-man is getting compansated for my inconvenience. Also, housekeeping hasn’t arrived yet.

I’m not entirely sure that you know what a “casino” is.

Update: housekeeping finally appeared but only after another call to the Front Desk. I also noticed a few hairs in the shower on Tuesday morning so I stopped by the Front Desk to have them clean the shower while they made up the room. Housekeeping took a look at the shower but it required another call to the Front Desk. However, there was still a hair in the shower. At least they discounted the room rate $20 for the second night, too. For my troubles, the boss-man bought my dinner and breakfast.
