What a week
This has been some week…
As of late Tuesday afternoon, I’ve joined the ranks of the unemployed once again this year.
Secondly, I’ve been staying with my parents in Angola finishing up a few things for the boss-man in Northern Indiana.
Thirdly, they say you can never go back again but being home but these past few days seem like the old times…lots of laughter - from dad’s bad jokes, my sister’s telling stupid stories, lots of teasing, all the running to and fro, the junk food, and fighting sisters.
Here’s a rundown of a few of the highlights of my week so far…
*My sister has a case of ‘roids.
*I’m not quite sure how we ended up on the topic but my mom was describing child birth…instant birth control.
*Decorating a Christmas tree with the Coffey Family is quite entertaining, as is watching my Mom shake all of her presents as she arranges them under the Christmas tree.
*While I was in South Bend, I decided to park in the garage to avoid dealing with having to move my car ever hour and I ended up with 3 $10 tickets for parking in a no parking zone (three tickets because I didn’t go back to my car during the day). However, I am contesting the parking ticket because the spot was marked with a number on the wall, I didn’t see the lines painted on the spot because it was covered with snow and I also asked the attendant the rules of the parking garage just to be sure it was OK to park where I had parked. While I was filling out the form, I was told that there has been quite a few people contest tickets on this spot so maybe I’ll get lucky.
*Aluminum foil will trigger the alarm on the metal decector in the South Bend City County Building.
*My Dad gave me $1.82 for drinking half a jar of pickle juice and Natalie #2 is going to make me homemade bread.
I also have a new appreciation for the silence of our house.

Unemployed? That’s no good (or is it?)…
I hope by ‘roids you mean “Steroids” and not any other kind of ‘roids.
Sorry to hear about your parking tickets. I hope the contesting goes in your favor.
Merry Christmas!!!

Because you were travelling on business I will need that $1.82 as it is company earnings. Tell you what: I’ll just reduce your pay by $0.91 per hour for the next 2 hours you turn in. It will just work itself out naturally.
And actually, you were let go about a month ago but due to some glitch in payroll you were still recieving a check. I fixed, the glitch. The problem is solved from my end.

Is the unemployed thing an annual occurance?
I may have some things of interest for you with some projects. Drop me a note if you’re interested.

You are dead!
You forgot to mention:
1. Getting honked at by a bunch of of firefighters
2. Getting flipped off for your bad driving.
3. Almost getting us killed.
Have a great day.
