A New Job
Yesterday, Caleb demanded that I blog a blog about my new job. So here it is…I’ve got a new job.
I will be the new Help Desk Administrator at Franklin College. I start tomorrow.
Even though the position itself is a bit of a step backwards (help desk wouldn’t have been my first choice and the pay is a bit lower), I’m excited about the possibilities. First, there are excellent opportunities for advancement at the College. Second, I’ll be able to teach day classes in starting in the Fall. The benefits are great, especially the retirement savings account. I think it will be a great group of people to work with. Finally, the position comes with 5 weeks of vacation!
