In my early days of riding the school bus, it was driving by Mr. Salmon (pronounced SAWL-MEN) who was a farmer that lived down the road. I suppose the bus driving was supplemental income.

Anyway, there were lots of Salmons that lived on that farm. One of them was Summer.

I was just recalling this in relation to the comments on Stef’s recent post.

I also recall calling her Summer Salmon (SAAH-MEN), like the fish.

And right now saying that name makes me laugh. Summer Salmon.

Sounds tasty.
