Tax Time
Dear State of Indiana:
I appreciate the fact that you allow me to file online for free, and have done so now for a couple of years. It’s moderately convenient. Granted, I already have the forms ready to go from Turbotax, but I’ll take the 20 minutes to fill out the online form so as to make your lives easier.
However, I tried to file this weekend and learned that your systems were down ALL weekend for “planned server upgrades”.
Now, I appreciate a server upgrade as much as the next techno-nerd, but for Christ’sUNNAMED DIETY’s sake why do you do it in the middle of tax season? I can only imagine that 500,000 other people who tried to file this weekend are just as thrilled as me.
I’m half tempted now to just send the forms in hand written in yellow crayon for this inconvenience.
Sincerely,
