What a morning

My mornings are very hectic. Today was a little extra hectic.

There’s no dress code at the college but I try to dress on the nicer side of business casual except for Fridays but I still like to look nicer. Since I was in a hurry today, I opted for a t-shirt.

About 8:20 this morning the boss-lady walks up to me and says you’ll be joining me at the extended cabinet meeting this morning at 9:45. I said “You’re kidding.” No such luck.

Boss-lady found an IT shirt but it was way too big and not ironed. My suggestion was to run over to the bookstore and buy a t-shirt. Boss-lady agreed and promptly brought me $20. Frickin’ sweet, a free t-shirt.

The extended cabinet meeting went well. The morning didn’t turn out to be so bad after all.

    if the problem was that you were wearing a t-shirt, how did buying another t-shirt help?

    did the 1st t-shirt have profanity on it? obscene images?

    there are two colleges in cbus…iupuc and ivy tech. however, i don’t work for either of them ’cause i don’t work in cbus.

    first t-shirt was a running t-shirt. second t-shirt was a school shirt…so at least i was showing school spirit.
