Election Time

Caleb and I saw quite a few interesting election signs on the way to Terre Haute yesterday for the Easter festivities.

Gambill for Sheriff,
Mick Love for Assessor, and
Chester “Pudge” Richardson for Sheriff.

On my way to work this morning…
“Woody” Burton for Congress.

    There’s a big stink in the Dubois Co. sheriff race right now. 2 guys are running to fill a spot from a guy that doesn’t want to be sheriff anymore. One of the guys used to be the sheriff, like 8 years ago. His signs say “Re-Elect Joe”, or whatever his name is.

    The other guy is pissed because he says the signs make people think that Joe is the current sheriff, yada yada yada.

    The article in the paper had a bunch of comments from the guy running against Joe.

    There is only one quote from Joe and it is something along the lines of, “I used to be the sheriff.”

    local elections are a joke and major pain in the ass.

    we have a guy named Dured Townsend running for sheriff. i’m pretty sure he runs every election.
