Independence Day
Yesterday, Caleb suggested we quit calling the 4th of July the 4th of July and call it Independence Day. Then we could celebrate Independence Day on a Monday or a Friday every year so you’ve got a three day weekend every year. I’ll 2st the motion. Now I just need to get a member of Congress to introduce the bill.

i don’t imagine that will happen, because of the signifigance of the 4th of july. holidays that have been put on a set day of the week don’t really have much signifigance on a specific date. they should move christmas to a monday or friday asswheel.
other holidays wiht date significance (veteran’s day (armistice day, what with all the 11s), new years day, i believe that is all)
