Keeps the Dr away

After making a killing on Corning (GLW), I moved out of it and over to Apple (AAPL). I bought Apple last year at around $55 and early this year it hit almost $90. Should I have sold? Yes. Did I. No.

It has since tanked and went down to $50, but as of today has rebounded back to $68.

In this blog I made a mention of AAPL and m2 posted the challenge of buying Apple. I would have if I had spare cash already in the account; but i didn’t, and I don’t like playing stocks with borrowed money.

On that day, June 28th, Apple closed at 56.02. At this very minute it’s trading at $68.20. If you factor in losing $7 twice for the trading, a $10000 investment a month ago would have yielded $12 160, or 21% ROI in 30 days. Not too shabby.
