Beer Snob
Ever since the end of college, I’ve become a bit of a beer snob.
That is, I don’t buy cheap beer for myself anymore. I buy moderately priced, but much better tasting beer. This is because I dont’ drink much at all (1-2 beers a week, generally). So if I’m going to drink, I’m going to drink things that taste good to me.
Since concrete fest was postponed from a few weeks ago, I have amassed a large quantity of Busch Light that was intended to the cheap beer du jour. And it’s killing me to drink it. It has little to no flavor. And it’s overloaded the fridge.
Slowly but surely I’ll get them all drunk (or is it dranked)? But the process sure seems slow. I need to get concrete fest on again and get those chuckers GONE.

Same here — I love a good beer. My favorite’s Old Stock Ale. But I can’t find it here, so I often drink Old Rasputin, anything by Victory or whatever else catches my eye on the shelves.

i’ll drink any beer. however, if i’m buying beer for myself just to enjoy, it’s probably going to be moderately priced and tasty, and come only in bottles in 6pcaks.
although, right now i have bud light in the fridge at home and the apt. in VA, the former left over from 4th of july and in there for the BILs to drink when they come to mow. the latter left over from some other weekend when i bought beer to take to a coworkers house. i think i’m going to drink some beer tonight. thanks for inspiring me!

Total agreement. I didn’t even like beer until I started trying decent microbrews. Bridgeport Ropewalk is my current favorite, though living in Portland, i’ve literally got hundreds of choices!
