Great
So I went to the local community college today because I am again teaching a class this fall. I needed to get one of the textbooks and have the department head show me where the classroom is and how to get into it (they’ve built a new facility since I last taught a class there).
Anyway, when I walk in I notice some paper towels in the middle of the floor. A few minutes later, I’m walking back where I came from and I see a disgruntled man cleaning up what appears to be vomit stains.
As I continue walking I get stuck behind a young lady carrying a baby and holding the hand of a little girl. They pretty much took up the whole width of the hallway and were walking slow, so I came right up behind them and tried to maneuver around. That’s when I heard the girl say:
“Mommy, I got puke on me”
I thought that was kind of amusing.
Then the mom replies: “Yeah, Devon must have the same flu bug you had last week”
Then I quickly realize I’m standing right behind this little “Devon” and he’s on her shoulder looking back at me (and breathing in my general direction).
Man, I hope I don’t get the flu now.

If it’s a stomach bug, it’s not transmissible by air. You should only be at risk if you got some of the liquid into your digestive track. (Hopefully…)
