Thanksgiving Controversy

Since I’ve now just completed the 4th family meal of my Thanksgiving season, I wanted to bring up a topic of controversy.

Dark meat is better than white meat.

There I said it. You may disagree, but then you also may be a moron. Dark meat is much more flavorful and juicy. White meat is dry dry dry. Give me a leg or thigh over a breast anyday.

Who’s with me? Who’s against me. Holla back nah.

Aw c’mon now. If you think white meat is dry dry dry, you clearly haven’t had properly cooked turkey. If the meat is moist, white meat kicks dark meat’s ass any day.

    racist.

i’ll eat both, usually white meat if i have a choice, but both are good

i don’t like the kid, but he’s got a point.

properly prepared white meat is mo betz than dark meat, and leftover whitemeat does tend to be drier than leftover darkmeat

    I like it all though!

I would have disagreed until I had an amazing dish of breaded chicken made from dark-meat filets. Crikies! It was delicious!! I still eat white meat, but I’m much more open to the dark side now…
