A couple of guys were caught recently after robbing a local bank.

This story is interesting, or at least funny, because of how they were caught.

Their car broke down on an interstate offramp, so they bolted. They ran through the mud to a nearby hotel (within sight of the offramp).

There they proceeded to check-in. The lobby clerk noticed that they were both “short of breath” and that they paid “in cash” with “large sums of money in their pockets”.

It didn’t take very long for them to be caught.

This got me wondering - I don’t think it would be that hard to rob a bank, if you planned it very carefully. Anyone who is dumb enough to try it probably isn’t smart enough to plan it right.

So, why not write a book on the subject? Teach would-be bank robbers the proper way of executing the perfect heist, with a whole load of things NOT TO DO.

Tip #1 - Don’t check this book out of the library with your library card.

I don’t think I could get in trouble for writing a book like this, could I? Free speech and all, right? Hit me back now with some thoughts.
