Vacation locations
Celeb and I want to go on a 4 day weekend trip in late April/early May.
The problem…we can’t decide where to go. I’ve been focusing mainly on the east coast - Baltimore, DC, Raleigh/Durham - I’ve been focusing mainly on Southwest because they’ve got cheap flights. We’ve also toyed with the idea of going to Disneyland. This morning I checked Delta flight prices to Charleston, Savannah, and Boston - not quite as cheap as the Southwest flights but not too bad either.
Yesterday, I was leaning towards Disneyland; this morning, I’m thinking Charleston or Savannah.
Here’s the dilemma, it looks like it may be hard to get a room on Disney property - which is pretty important to us. So that brings me back to Charleston and/or Savannah. Neither of us have ever been which is one of the reasons I’m leaning towards one of these two. I know of a couple of things to do but I worried about getting bored.
So has anyone been? Likes and dislikes? Things to do? Or what about locations?

you’ll want to wait for whupslon’s input on this, since he’s from SC, but i can vouch for savannah being totally sweet.

Will I have stuff to do for 4 days? That’s the problem; I don’t want to be bored. Aside from seeing a few cool houses and eating some of Paul Dean’s cooking, what will keep me busy for 4 days?

Savannah is great! There is plenty to do and lots to see. You’ll find plenty to do for a long-weekend, although you may find yourself bored if you stayed 2 whole weeks. Say hello to Forest Gump for me!
