Google Calling

So if you go to google.com/maps and do a business search (click on “Find Businesses” beneath the search box), and you find a business list on the left of hte page one of the options is “Call”.

Click that, put in your phone number, and google will call the business for you and connect your phone in. And google picks up the tab!

    very nice… I’m sad it ain’t available on Google Japan.

    I’d like to do some test … like couldn’t we simply find that piece of javascript code and write a small webpage that allows to call any number on google’s tab ?

    does not sound that complicated… unless they put some kind of protection.

    by the way… is it really “tab” and not “tap” ?
