Recipe
Bean’s soup (not to be confused with Bean soup) recipe got me thinking about my latest recipe, Whiskey Bread.
Here goes.
You’ll need normal bread making ingredients (eggs, flour, years, etc..) + 2 cups of whiskey.
Mix 2 c flour + 1cup warm water/yeast and 1 egg until combined.
Take 1 shot of whiskey.
Continue mixing and add a little bit (tbsp) of olive oil and a pinch of salt.
Take another shot of whiskey.
Continue kneading the dough, adding flour if the dough is too sticky (it probably will be).
take another shot of whiskey
The whole time for kneading should be able 5 minutes. Each time you stop to let your hands rest, take another shot of whiskey.
Let the bread rise in a warm place for 1 hour. Check it every 15 minutes ,taking a shot of whiskey each time.
Now this is the crucial step. You need to bake the bread at 325 for about 25 minutes. However, don’t do this step unless someone else is in the house to hear the oven buzzer go off. If no one else is around, forego this step, nd instead take another shot of whiskey.
There, you’re done. Eat a cookie if you’re hungry.
