Two weekends ago, Celeb and I spent some time working on the house.

Celeb worked inside finishing up the trim in the entry way. I’m not sure if we blogged about this but we (actually we hired a guy) to tear out the existing mosaic tiles and put in new porcelain tile. To do this we had to take off the trim. Celeb finished with the new trim. Both the new floor and trim look great. Unfortunately in the process we’ve decided the entry way which is two stories needs repainting and we also need to repaint the majority of the trim (the list just keeps getting longer and longer. Sorry no pictures at the moment…work in progress.

I decided to spruce up the front yard with some summer flowers. Since it was a hot day and Celeb and I were planning on going swimming afterwards, I threw on my bathing suit. I wasn’t outside more than 20 seconds when I got the first of many honks for the day. Now Celeb is completed baffled by this whole honking phenomenon; I’m more annoyed with all of the honking business but I guess it’s my own fault for wearing a bikini in the front yard. However, this doesn’t just happen when I’m in my bikini…any time I’m outside and a bit of my skin is showing, the beeping starts.

Anyway, the flowers look good!

We’ve also finished up the front porch with some purdy new house numbers. And we’ve finally got some plant action in the front flower beds.
