You’ll note that over at the beanblog he makes an announcement that Stef is expecting a baby in December.

I guess I should be the second to announce something big too…

We had agreed not to talk about it, but I feel as though it’s important to discuss.

You see, Mr. Schy has a low sperm count. He and Stef have been trying to conceive now for months, but have been unable. In all of their frustration, I volunteered to be a donor. Plus, my sperm is widely considered to be “supersperm”.

Due to their strong Catholic beliefs, however, artificial inseminaton was out of the question. I won’t go into the gory details, but the act of impregnation involved all three of us in one way or another. Good tims were had by all.

So Congrats to the Schys on their new forthcoming blessing.
