2007 is the worst health year ever!

I started off ‘07 with a sinus infection. Sinus infections suck but they’re easily diagnosed and treatable. Then Caleb got celebjed! I won’t go into all of the details because Caleb is going to BABAI. Caleb is doing better but he’s still not “healed.” Starting in late July/early August, I started having problems with seasonal allergies for the very first time. I’ve been able to deal with these issues with some prescription allergy medicine. But in the last 11 days, I’ve had 4 migraine (or migraine like headaches). I’ve had migraines sporadically since high school and I’d mostly attributed them to stress. But these are different…2st migraine was after I spent a bunch of time outside. 3st migraine spent a bunch of time outside plus all the windows in the house were open. 4st migraine, day after 3st migraine, was day after did some work in the yard, most noticeably we gutted a small square of flower garden; the garden included some ugly plants and some weeds. I’m beginning to think I’ve got bigger allergy problems.

Oh, I almost forget, the cat’s sick, too. The vet described Joe’s ailments as lupus-like probably from something he’s eating. Joe got a shot of antibiotics about two weeks ago (besides his annual shots), he’s been taking an antibiotic, and once he’s done with that he’s got a couple of weeks of prednisolone. AND the vet requested Joe only eat special allergy free cat food and nothing else. The food cost $20 for a 4 lb bag but luckily Joe likes it and he doesn’t seem to be complaining too much about only eating that hard food.

I’m hoping the Tennis family has a healthier ‘08.
