Updates
One week from today I will be finished with all of my MS degree requirements, so the only thing I’ll be waiting on is for them to mail me my diploma.
The thing cost somewhere around $18,000, though a large portion of that was tax deductable. My work also reimburses 50% of your tuition expenses up to $1500 a year, meaning I got $4500 back over the course of three years. And 2.5 years of my life where I spent most weeknights in front of the computer tooling with homework. I’m grad it’s done.
On a side note, I hadn’t received our Disney Magical Express luggage tags, and we leave in about 10 days, so I emailed customer service and was told that they were sent Mar 23rd and that it’s too late to get new ones so we’ll have to pick our luggage up at the airport in Orlando and take it with us on the busses (something that they were supposed to do for us with this program). Not a big deal, but definitely a small letdown for what is supposed to be a “magical” vacation.
After some internet research today, however, I’ve found a large number of people who are going to DW in early May (this program officially begins on May 5th) haven’t received their tags yet either. In fact, one representative from a travel company posted that people should be getting them via FedEx due to misprinting errors on the original tags. So, I suppose there is some hope in sight.
