Gift cards and shipping
I just went to buy a gift card online. I assumed shipping for said gift card would be free. Boy was I wrong. It’s $5! Last time I checked, a stamp was $0.41. I’m strongly considered not buying the gift card from this particular online retailer.
Good grief.

How would you like it if the Gift Card was ‘lost’ in the post?
Also - someone doesn’t just pick a card out of a hat shove into envelope and bung it into the post - they have to make sure that these legal tender products are securely sent.
Don’t like the cost?
Pop into a Mall and buy one there
Good Grief!!!!!!!!

on the opposite end of the spectrum, i ordered some headlight adjuster bolts from autozone. They cost $3.16 with tax and had free shipping. I got the package a few days later, and the postage alone was $1.99. When you count the amount it cost them to have some mexican put it in a box, and the cost of the chinese guy that made the bolts, i’m sure they lost money on that one.

I bought someone a target gift card a while back, so I sent it over email so they could print out a page and take it to the store. I don’t know if they gave them a gift card there or if they just bought something with the piece of paper, but it worked with $0.00 in shipping, so I was happy.
